Outdoor Bars Where You Can Watch Sports Right Now

Plan B for watching baseball in person

View as Map

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has put a damper on summertime activities but baseball has thankfully returned, albeit with a shorter season. While fans can’t be active spectators at the ballpark and indoor dining is closed once again, some restaurants and bars with capacity for outdoor service are still offering the chance to cheer on the Padres via television. If you’re quite not ready to practice social distancing at an outdoor venue, these places also offer takeout.

Disclaimer: This map should not be taken as endorsement for dining in, as there are still COVID-19 safety concerns: For updated information on coronavirus cases, please visit the California Department of Health. Studies indicate that there is a lower exposure risk when outdoors, but the level of risk involved with patio dining is contingent on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines.
