Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa
Both restaurants at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort will have special menus just for Mother’s Day—both cost $98 for adults and $35 for children and run from 9:30/10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Both restaurants will feature a buffet with a carve station with sun dried tomato and dill crusted sea bass and prime rib; an iced seafood display; a California artisanal cheese tasting; an omelet station; a selection of pastries; platters of cured meats; California-made salumi and a cold buffet with items such as avocado gazpacho, pickled shrimp, grilled green asparagus, and baby arugula. Flower Child
Fast casual healthy joint Flower Child will be offering a fresh strawberry MAmosa, which will be available only on May 12 and 13. The restaurant will also be handing out “I Love Mom” coloring sheets while moms enjoy brunch, which will feature light items like a quinoa breakfast burrito, vegan hash and the Late Riser (scrambled eggs, quinoa, heirloom bean, avocado, roasted chile, salsa, corn, greek yogurt and queso blanco). Also served will be freshly squeezed juices, including the Liquid Sunshine with coconut water, carrot, ginger, turmeric and orange.

Both the Fashion Valley and UTC locations of True Food Kitchen will be serving a special “Mom-osa” menu only on Mother’s Day. Available are a pomegranate mimosa with prosecco, lime, pomegranate, and antioxidant tea; an orange vanilla mimosa with prosecco, lime, vanilla and orange; a blueberry mint mimosa with prosecco, mint, blueberry and lemon; and a sparkling lavender lemonade with lemon, honey, lavender and sparkling water.

Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa
With both indoor and outdoor dining options along with live piano entertainment, guests will enjoy an endless brunch buffet including made-to-order omelets, peel-and-eat shrimp and special kids’ options. Guests also receive a complimentary Mother’s Day cruise on Mission Bay aboard the resort’s two sternwheelers, the Bahia Belle and William D. Evans. The Smoking Goat Restaurant
It’s the fête des mères at French bistro The Smoking Goat, where those looking to skip brunch will be well taken care of. On the menu is crispy octopus with wild arugula and fingerling potatoes, a pan roasted Scottish salmon, and, for dessert, a goat cheese cheesecake.
