Following its recent landing at Seaport Village, Mr. Moto Pizza will arrive in Little Italy on Wednesday, April 14. This is the eighth location overall for the local pizzeria, which was founded in Pacific Beach in 2015 and now includes branches in Encinitas, North Park, and Ocean Beach.
Taking over the 980-square-foot corner space on India Street that formerly housed Napizza, Mr. Moto replaces the pizza al taglio spot with its New York-style slices and whole pies that range from the Smoky Greens pizza topped with spinach, ricotta, garlic and balsamic glaze to build-your-own options. Paul Ahern of Next Wave Commercial represented owner Gibran Fernandez in the lease.
And its growth streak continues with another just-announced restaurant coming to Mission Valley, where it joins Grater Grilled Cheese in the Friars Mission Center. Allison Campbell of Retail Insite represented Mr. Moto on that lease for the 1,000-square-foot store.
