SoCal chain Mendocino Farms lands its fifth location in San Diego and 34th overall later this month when the fast-casual eatery opens at Westfield Mission Valley across from Nordstrom Rack on Tuesday, September 22.

The salad and sandwich specialists will be seating dine-in guests on its patio and offering in-store or contactless curbside pick-up as well as delivery.

The company, which has donated more than 400 meals to local medical facilities during the pandemic, is donating 20 percent of sales for every salad or sandwich purchased to the San Diego Food Bank during its opening weekend on September 26 and 27 and giving away free meals to the first 500 locals who sign up online.
