Sipz Vegetarian Kitchen is pairing up its latest location in downtown La Jolla with a new daytime to-go cafe that opens in the eatery’s existing space this Thursday. The restaurant, which serves a vegan Asian menu, launched last week for takeout and delivery dinner service. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Dripz Coffee is offering a grab and go lineup that includes a large selection of coffee drinks made with James Coffee Co. including mocha lattes, Vietnamese coffee, and keto coffee.
The Le siblings, who operate the Sipz outposts in North Park and Clairemont as well as Hi Street Kitchen in Kearny Mesa, are planning to open more Dripz locations while simultaneously expanding the Sipz brand. The daytime cafe’s menu features vegan/vegetarian pastries and desserts as well breakfast items that range from croissant breakfast sandwiches made with scrambled tofu and Sipz’s faux “bacon” to steamed buns filled with barbecue “pork”.
