Bay City Brewing Company is landing soon in the East Village with a scheduled public opening on Monday, March 16. Founded in 2015 in the Point Loma area, the brewery’s expansion spans 4,735 square-feet of a renovated historic building on 8th Avenue, encompassing a ground floor restaurant, tasting room, and outdoor patio and a 1,200-square-foot rooftop bar.
While its original Hancock Street location featured a rotating lineup of food trucks, the East Village outpost includes a full kitchen that will cook up a menu of signature pizzas plus wings, salads, and breadsticks. Open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, the family, and dog-friendly, space features games, a video wall, and fire pits. The rooftop area, which can accommodate up to 175, will also be available to rent for private events.
