The spate of traveling pop-ups planning to stop in San Diego, which includes a Friends brunch and a Lego-themed bar, now features an event tailored for the new age of social distancing.
Drive-In Movie Club is a roving drive-in movie theater that is currently scheduled to be parked in San Diego from Tuesday, July 14 to Sunday, July 19. The family-friendly event, which will screen favorite cult classics, promises “a complete cinema experience from the safety of your own vehicle.”
Pre-registration is now open for the event, which has not yet disclosed its location. When tickets go on sale, they will be $25 per car for early birds and $30 per car of up to 5 people thereafter.
Meanwhile, San Diego’s permanent drive-in movie theater, the 62-year-old South Bay Drive-In, is reportedly still in operation.
