Since being named Roast Magazine’s 2020 Roaster of the Year, Mostra Coffee has been expanding its product line as well as its footprint outside of its Carmel Mountain headquarters. The locally-owned company, which recently launched a line of instant coffee, will open its second cafe location this month n the North County community of 4S Ranch.

Featuring its signature MAVAM performance espresso machine and its menu of popular coffee concoctions, including the Bibingka Crème Brûlée Latte, this cafe will be introducing a new drink called Sláinte on St. Patrick’s Day that features their Brazil Nitro cold brew and a green Bailey’s-inspired but non alcoholic cloud cream. The company, which champions Philippine coffee industry through its direct-trade relationships with coffee farmers in the Philippines, has more growth in the works, including other specialty drinks, beer and wine service, and more locations. Mostra plans to branch out locally and beyond; a third cafe is coming to Mira Mesa, plus branches in San Francisco, New York, and Manila.
