Interactive Pop-Up Bar Made of One Million Legos Heads to San Diego

The Brick Bar is coming

The Brick Bar

From dining under a dome to “Friends” brunches and all-bed cinemas, 2020 is bringing all kinds of gimmicky pop-ups to San Diego. The latest is The Brick Bar, an unofficial Lego-themed pop-up that’s scheduled to pass through town on July 10 and 11.

Assembled from over a million Lego blocks, the bar will feature life-size interactive sculptures that include a DJ booth, wishing well, and ping-pong table. There will be plenty of bricks on hand to build your own creations, with prizes given to the best constructions.

The pop-up’s exact location and ticket price have yet to be announced, but when The Brick Bar stopped in Philadelphia last year, admission was $25. Curious folks can pre-register for more information. Food and drink will be available to purchase on site, ranging from burgers on colorful brick-shaped buns and cocktails served in brick-shaped cups.
