Every neighborhood needs a wine bar and the community of University Heights will soon be able to claim Clos Wine Bar as its own. The Park Boulevard space will be run by South Park residents Paul and Juerie Masters, who were previously part of the wine and hospitality industry in New York City.
The all-day wine bar will focus on small wine producers and organically-farmed varietals available by the glass, bottle, or wine flight, with the entire list available for retail. Beer, cider, and kombucha will also be poured. Clos Wine Bar will have an outdoor patio and plenty of seating, but it doesn’t have a kitchen, though Masters says that guests will be encouraged to order in food from nearby eateries. The owners also plan on offering wine education and other classes.
Joe Brady and Serena Patterson of Colliers International’s Urban Property Team represented the property owner and Brady shared, “It’s the perfect addition to the lively culinary, craft beer, cocktail, and retail scene that this neighborhood is known and loved for.”
