The latest line of products since the local distillery’s acquisition by Anheuser-Busch is a party-ready collection of alcoholic popsicles, or “poptails”, called Cutwater Frozen Cocktail Spirit Pops. Cutwater Spirits has already made a significant mark in the ready-to-drink canned cocktail market with its 16 different spiked drink flavors; the latest to launch is a Mai Tai made with Cutwater’s award-winning Barrel Aged Rum and Bali Hai Tiki Gold Rum. Last fall, the company also released its first lineup of premium tequila.

Fresh on shelves throughout the state, from independent shops to Walmart, Total Wine, and Southern California BevMo locations, the adult ice pops ring in at seven percent ABV and are 80 calories each. Sold at the suggested retail price of $22.99 to $26.99, the frozen treats come in 12-packs with three each of the following flavors — Lime Margarita, Gin Melon, Vodka Mule and Rum & Cola. The company says that the spirit pops will be rolling out nationwide next month.
