Have We Reached Peak Hello Kitty?

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is back again

Mora Film Co.

Since it hit the streets in 2014, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has made San Diego one of its regular stops as it tours throughout Southern California with an all-pink mobile shop chock full of adorable merch. Its day-long pop-ups, including one last fall at Westfield UTC, are still drawing crowds who clamor for its limited-edition collectibles and sweet treats. The truck returns to the area this weekend with a date on Saturday, January 11 at The Shoppes at Carlsbad Mall, where it will be parked near the Regal Cinemas from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Another pop-up is planned for Saturday, February 1 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Otay Ranch Town Center.

Hello Kitty fans can shop for more items to add to their collections, including brand new sprinkle-decorated mugs and other favorites including enamel pin sets, themed totes, t-shirts, and water bottles, and edible souvenirs that include madeleines, confetti popcorn, and giant cookies.
