The Patio Group saga rolls on with a second spate of properties that have come up for sale. Next Wave Commercial’s Nate Benedetto and Paul Ahern are handling the listings of the five fast-casual restaurants, which include all Surf Rider Pizza locations.

Founded in Ocean Beach in 2010, the East Coast-style pizzeria was incorporated into the Patio Group in 2015 and grew to include outposts in Mission Beach, Crown Point, and La Mesa; the Cohn Restaurant Group has been running the OB and La Mesa branches since last fall. All locations are up for grabs as individual properties or as a parcel of multiple assets.

In a release, Ahern said, “This portfolio represents a rare opportunity for a restaurant group or individual operator to acquire several newly renovated restaurant facilities. These locations could either be purchased with the trade name/intellectual property and continue operating as Surf Rider Pizzas, or instead be rebranded to entirely new concepts.”

In addition to the Surf Rider spots, which range in size from 1,029-square-feet to 4,143-square-feet, the available sites also include the now-shuttered Bao Beach, which opened in 2016 on Mission Boulevard and served an Asian-inspired menu.
