A little over a year after debuting in Little Italy (the company’s biggest opening to-date), Salt & Straw Ice Cream has announced that its new One Paseo scoop shop will grand open this Friday, March 22 at 11 a.m. with free custom tote bags for the first 100 guests. In a run up to the opening, the store has already activated home delivery via Postmates and is offering pints of its core flavors from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

The Portland-based, family-run company is known for its small-batch ice cream, features classic flavors that include Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, Double Fold Vanilla, and the San Diego-sourced James Coffee and Bourbon and Peanut Butter Stout with Chocolate Chicharrón made with Belching Beaver Brewery’s peanut butter milk stout. Going forward, Salt & Straw’s menu will always be twenty percent vegan; Freckled Mint TCHO-colate Chip and Dandelion Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies & Cream are two of the new dairy-free flavors. Head ice cream maker Tyler Malek also creates special seasonal flavors every month; March’s releases include former favorites like Pots of Gold & Rainbows with Lucky Charms cereal and Wild-Foraged Berry Slab Pie, which has berry pie filling and pie crust mixed in.

The One Paseo shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
