The Patio Group (Saska’s Steakhouse, Fireside by the Patio, The Patio on Goldfinch, The Patio on Lamont) will reopen its revamped East Village eatery on Monday, March 25. Formerly Harvest by the Patio, it’s now called Himmelberg’s in honor of a late friend of The Patio Group CEO Gina Champion-Cain.

The 3,500-square-foot, two-level space at the corner 10th and J has been remodeled with a new rock n’ roll theme that extends to cocktails named “Ginny Hendricks” and “Joey’s Juke Box Hero”. And the venue will now host bands and live entertainment, initially on Fridays and Saturdays, with other weekly specials including Industry Mondays and Trivia Tuesdays.

Some menu items and features from Harvest by the Patio remain, including the downstairs grab-and-go counter and dishes like the Olympia bowl with chickpeas, cucumber, red onion, roasted peppers, tomato, kalamata olives, spinach, feta cheese, and red wine herb dressing, but the bulk of the fast-casual food offerings now lean towards classic bar grub, ranging from meatball subs and giant pretzels to cauliflower wings, burgers, mac n’ cheese, and flatbreads. Himmelberg’s will also serve “Himmelbrew”, a beer brewed exclusively for The Patio Group by Mission Brewery.
