A new podcast hits the airwaves today, giving insight into the hospitality industry on both the local and national level. Launched by 30-year kitchen vet and executive chef Jason McLeod, who is the culinary director of CH Projects and has partnered with the group to open several restaurants including Ironside Fish & Oyster and Born & Raised, Jason’s Shitty Chef Driven Podcast is hosted by Callaway Podcast Network and is the first food-related podcast for the golf-focused sporting goods company.

The just-released, hour-long episodes bring together local experts to discuss their fields as well as all aspects of the restaurant industry; each participant also answers a questionnaire created by McLeod called “Jason’s 11 Shitty Questions”. Among the guests featured on the first season’s eight episodes are CH Projects’ resident bar pros Anthony Schmidt and Erick Castro, who chat about all things cocktail, as well as culinary power couple Jessica and Davin Waite, butchers Natalie Sawyer and Michelle Allen, and Kelly Fukushima, Jordyn Kastlunger, and Pete Halmay from the Tuna Harbor Dockside Market. Season two of the podcast is scheduled to drop early next year.
