Three new dining options are getting ready to open at the Mercado del Barrio, Shea Properties’ mixed-use center in Barrio Logan that sits under Coronado Bay Bridge next to Chicano Park. In the works since last fall is Attitude Brewing Company, a 4,475-square-foot brewpub with a 22-tap tasting room that hopes to extend its distribution into Mexico. Its beer lineup will include a Mexican-style lager, coffee stout, Bavarian-style hefeweizen, and an IPA and it will offer gourmet wraps and burgers. It’s scheduled to open later this summer.

So new is Dough Nations, an Italian eatery that will feature classics like meatball sandwiches and pizza rolls but also several Mexican-Italian creations such as the Al Pastor pizza. And bringing all-day eats to the Mercado later this fall is Maggie’s Café, whose breakfast, lunch and dinner menu will be similar to the one served at its Kearny Mesa location, which ranges from breakfast burritos and eggs Benedict to salads, tortas, and pasta.

The trio of eateries join existing food and drink tenants Pho Bo, Mariscos el Pulpo, Iron Fist Brewing Company, Oi Asian Fusion, and Tocumbo Ice Cream & Tortas.
