Frat Boy Donuts launches in Liberty Public Market this weekend and will be giving away free doughnuts from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 23. It’s the second location for the doughnut shop, which debuted last fall in Pacific Beach alongside Stuffed! burgers in Pacific Beach. Owners Tori and Alex Gould also run an outpost of Stuffed! in Liberty Public Market.
Its menu will offer a cake doughnuts, yeast doughnuts, and cronuts as well as other pastries including apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. Frat Boy’s donuts come in a range of rotating flavors, from Dat Cookie Doe, a blue-frosted donut topped with raw cookie dough and crushed chocolate chip cookies to Banana Nutella, Lemon Meringue, and Strawberry Shortcake. Vegan doughnut options will be available on weekends. The shop will also offer cream cheese-filled bagel/doughnut hybrids, including an everything bagel-seasoned doughnut and a cinnamon sugar-seasoned doughnut.
