Copa Vida Bringing Craft Coffee to Carmel Valley

The cafe and coffee bar will open this fall

Copa Vida East Village

Copa Vida’s seventh location is coming to Carmel Valley. The craft coffee company, which operates cafes in several San Diego neighborhoods including the East Village, Carlsbad, and Sorrento Valley, will be part of Merge Carmel Valley; The Barrel Room Wine Bar & Bistro and Mason Ale Works Tasting Room + Kitchen opened side-by-side in the same suburban center last month.

Fueled by its central roasting facility in Pasadena, Copa Vida’s cafes range in size from bigger outposts that feature full kitchens and an expanded food menu to smaller sites offering grab-and-go items. Its coffee program includes a self-service coffee bar for morning commuters as well as dedicated barista service for complete range of espresso and tea drinks.

Built from scratch, the 2,500-square-foot Carmel Valley branch will include a full kitchen and breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch menus. There will be indoor seating as well as a large corner patio.
