Scheduled to launch on Prospect Street later this month, Dominic’s Table will reflect owner/chef Dominic Tedesco’s “journey through life with food”. The veteran chef, who has cooked professionally for over 30 years, spent the last 15 years in Las Vegas where he was a frequent guest on food television while he worked at the MGM Grand and as a private chef. He fell in love with La Jolla while visiting here, and decided to relocate to open his eponymous restaurant at the former Roppongi site. Tedesco says he’s made mostly cosmetic changes to the 5,700-square-foot corner space, which includes two outdoor patios.
The Dominic’s Table menu will primarily reflect the chef’s Italian heritage, rounded out by the chef’s favorite dishes from around the globe. There will also be a raw bar, serving up sushi and other seafood items. Offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the upscale casual eatery will feature a full bar, live jazz on Friday and Saturday nights, and brunch on Sundays.
