After shuttering its previous site last June, Quartyard has re-emerged in the East Village in a new location at the corner of 13th and Market. At 11,000-square-feet, the footprint is about half the size of the original but there’s still room for all the essential components of the former space, from the dog run, concert stage, and outdoor games to the repurposed shipping containers that house a coffee shop, bar with 20 taps of craft beer and cocktails on tap, and eatery that features a menu of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and flatbread pizza; new items include wings and fries.
With a current lease that extends at least three years, the urban park and event venue is celebrating its grand re-opening with a ticketed event scheduled for Friday, April 13 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. that includes performances from B-Side Players, The Kickback djs (Harvard Bass b2b Bubba Cortez), and Israel Maldonado.
