Fresh off a starring role in the recently-aired San Diego episode of ‘The Zimmern List”, Salud Tacos is adding another location that’ll help accommodate its growing legion of fans. Feeding locals since 2015, the Barrio Logan eatery is opening soon in National City, where it will bring its signature design that celebrates art and lowrider culture and its popular menu of tacos and other specialties.
The National City outpost is approximately the same size as its original Barrio Logan restaurant, with seating for 40. The space is turnkey, so the eatery plans to be up and running by the end of April. New to this location will be a selection of burritos. Beer won’t initially be available but should follow eventually. Salud is still working on other projects, including an expansion in Barrio Logan and another branch in the Midway District; look for those to launch later this fall.
