Nolita Hall’s Going All Out for Christmas

The Little Italy restaurant and bar gets a festive holiday makeover

Nolita Hall owner Douglas Hamm is really into Christmas. As a kid growing up in Minnesota, Hamm says he used to spend hours in the freezing cold wrapping every tree branch in his yard with Christmas lights. Along with his wife Lara, partner Anthony Viveros, and general manager AJ Manente, he’s translated that festive spirit to his Little Italy restaurant and bar, which just got a major holiday makeover that will remain in place through Wednesday, January 2.

To further set the mood, Nolita Hall will be screening classic Christmas movies, from Hamm’s favorites Home Alone 1 and Home Alone 2 to iconic films ranging from It’s A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story to Miracle on 34th Street, Elf, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch, Love Actually, and Bad Santa. The movies will be shown continuously throughout the season on two massive, 165-inch HD screens, but will play with audio on Monday and Tuesday nights.

Guests can expect surprise visits from Santa over the month of December and a rotating selection of menu specials. Starting this Friday, the bar will be featuring holiday cocktails including the Nolita Christmas Spritz, Home Alone Egg Nog, Elf Spiked Syrup, and a Spiced Christmas Manhattan.
