The Patio Marketplace Preps New UTC-Area Eatery

Local restaurant collective The Patio Group (Fireside, Bao Beach, Harvest, The Patio, Saska’s Steakhouse) is continuing to grow its the corporate hospitality arm, anchored by The Patio Marketplace, by opening its largest location yet in the UTC area.

With the aim of being an amenity to any structure it’s in, whether it be a hotel or office, The Patio Marketplace provides another option for residents and workers in the surround community. The all-day, fast casual eatery, which pulls signature dishes from across The Patio Group’s restaurants, opened at The Aventine in 2016 and recently debuted inside downtown’s relaunched Hotel Republic.

The new outpost, at the base of Axiom, BioMed Realty’s campus at 4535 Towne Centre Court, has seating for more that 150 guests and spans over 8,000-square-feet, with nearly 3,500-square-feet of outdoor space and interior that includes a dining room and bar serving beer and wine. Open from 7 to 3 p.m. Monday and Friday and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, The Patio Marketplace will offer a coffee program fueled by Swell Coffee Co. as well as the most extensive menu yet from executive chef Amol Thanky (The St. Regis SF, Restaurant Gary Danko) that will include weekly specials. The fresh space will be available to rent for events on evenings and weekends.
