Dunkin’ Donuts Debuts Downtown

Dunkin’ Donuts is gearing up to grand open a new location in downtown San Diego at 225 Broadway; starting at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, the first guest in line a $100 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card and the first 50 customers to visit will receive a branded swag bag. There will be samples of Dunkin’ Donuts menu items and a photo op with the company’s mascot, Cuppy.

The local franchise group, Burton Restaurants, LLC., is a disabled veteran-owned business which also owns and operates Dunkin’ Donuts at Camp Pendleton, MCAS Miramar, 601 Pacific Highway, National City and Balboa Naval Hospital. To commemorate the downtown opening, they will be donating $1,000 to the Travis Manion Foundation, a charity that supports veterans and families of fallen heroes.

The 1,400-square-foot eatery will serve Dunkin’ Donuts’ full menu, including fresh brewed coffee, cold brew, espresso drinks, doughnuts, sandwiches and other baked goods. Offering free wifi, there are 20 seats inside and 50 more on a large patio. It will be open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. offering free wifi with 20 indoor seats and 50 more on a large patio.

Expect to see even more Dunkin’ Donuts around town. Owner Talisin Burton shared that there will be four additional openings throughout the county over the next year.

Flocke and Avoyer’s Matt Peckham, Brad Williams and Steve Avoyer represented the landlord, the Irvine Company, while Stewart Keith, Jon Horning and Beth Sargent represented Dunkin Donuts in the transaction.
