Joining the mix at The Shops at La Jolla Village is Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, which will begin serving guests starting Wednesday, August 30. First founded in Denver, the breakfast and brunch spot expanded to Hillcrest in 2011 and opened a Del Mar outpost in 2013.
The 3,458 square-foot restaurant will be open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., offering Snooze’s signature menu of sweet and savory morning eats ranging from pancake flights to a mashup of eggs Benedict and chilaquiles that tops ranchero-sauced tortillas with beef, poached eggs, cheers and roasted poblano hollandaise. It’s also know for daytime cocktails, from Bloody Marys and mimosas to specialty drinks such as the Bacon and Eggs which combines bacon-infused Elijah Craig Bourbon with house sour mix, egg white and bitters.
Each Snooze supports local community organizations and non profits; in La Jolla, it will partner with San Diego Coastkeeper, EdUCate!, which provides extra funds for all of University City public schools, and The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank.
