Cozy Cocktail Bar and Patio Launching in Liberty Station

They’re part of an expansion at Moniker General

Sip Coffee & Craft Beer at Liberty Station's New Lifestyle Hub

Celebrating its first anniversary, lifestyle hub Moniker General is adding to its mix of hospitality and retail with a new cocktail bar and patio to complement its shop and showroom in Liberty Station. Launching late July, the cocktail counter replaces the tasting bar from 32 North Brewing. In its place will be an elegant 1950s-style bar offering a cocktail list of eight signature drinks as well as mocktails, frosé (aka. frozen rosé), and a variety of beer and wine from San Diego and Baja that ranges from 20 bottled beers to over 24 options of red, white and sparkling wine. Barware and other home goods will also be added to the in-house store’s retail selection.

Co-owners Ryan Sisson and Nathan Cadieux recently enlarged the patio space to 1,300-square-feet. Primed for cocktail sipping, the dog and family-friendly outdoor area has a mix of seating ranging from picnic benches to café tables and Adirondack chairs and lots of greenery. Open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, seven days a week, the resident coffee bar also expanded, adding a toast menu of sweet and savory toppings on multigrain bread. When the cocktail bar opens next month, there will be a new bar bite menu that includes cheese plates, gluten-free bread and vegan options.
