Are you obsessed with the diverse and exciting dining scene in San Diego? Do you have proven journalistic chops? There might just be a spot for you here at Eater San Diego.
We're currently seeking a smart, enthusiastic writer to contribute maps, neighborhood guides, and other stories to Eater San Diego on a freelance basis. Social media savvy and photography skills are an added bonus. This team member will round out the site’s existing group of writers and photographers. We’re particularly looking for someone comfortable with CMS/online publishing systems who has an extensive knowledge of the San Diego restaurant scene.
Is this you? Shoot a brief email here with the subject line "Eater San Diego Contributor." Include a little bit about yourself and any relevant professional experience, along with a previous writing sample or two. (If you have a personal website, Twitter, and/or Instagram, links to those would be helpful as well.)
If you're serious about getting started, include three pitches that you think would work for the site. If we like what we see, we'll be in touch quickly.
