Bottlecraft, which has built a following for its well-stocked bottle shops and tasting rooms in Little Italy, North Park and Liberty Station, will head to North County for its fourth area location. It will take the place of San Diego BeerWorks, an existing craft beer spot at 437 Highway 101 Suite 107 in Solana Beach, which is scheduled to shutter later this month. In a release, BeerWorks owners, Jenn Todd and John Holko shared, “We know Bottlecraft has the same passion for craft beer and will continue to provide the quality and variety in beer selection to our customers.”
Bottlecraft owner Brian Jensen said, “We’ve been looking for a North County location for quite some time. It’s a very friendly and comfortable space that fits perfectly into our business model.” Bottlecraft Solana Beach will featuring a rotating list of 20 craft beers on tap and an expanded retail section for bottle sales. The 1,680-square-foot space has a kitchen, which will be revamped; a new food menu will be available when the bottle shop and tasting room reopens in early March.
