Two months after debuting at Westfield UTC, Shake Shack is doubling down by opening its second San Diego location in Mission Valley this Thursday, December 21 at 11 a.m. This time around, Shake Shack is occupying a free-standing building at the The Millennium Mission Valley, a mixed-use project that includes a public plaza area as well as retail and residential spaces.

The mega-popular burger brand, which should be opening more outposts in the area, serves up 100% all-natural Angus beef Shack Burgers, chicken sandwiches and 'Shroom Burgers plus griddled flat-top dogs and its classic crinkle cut fries. San Diego craft breweries including Modern Times Beer, Pizza Port Brewing Company, and Stone Brewing will be poured and its frozen custard concretes feature local spins including the Salt N' SANDiego with vanilla custard, salted caramel sauce, crumbled sugar cone and banana and the Pie Oh My, which is vanilla custard mixed with a slice of pie from North County’s Betty’s Pie Whole. The Mission Valley branch will be donating five percent of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete to local environmental nonprofit I Love a Clean San Diego.

As is par for the course, there will most definitely be lines. Bypass the crowd with the Shack App, which allows guests to select a pickup time for orders.
