The Patio Group Planning Fast-Casual Concept in East Village

Harvest by The Patio will emerge this fall

As it continues to diversify its brand, The Patio Group is adding a new scaleable concept to its growing hospitality collective that will take root in East Village. Harvest by The Patio is another project developed in collaboration with Legal Restaurants, who helped the group launch Fireside by The Patio in Liberty Station and is working on Bao Beachacross from one of The Patio's other properties, Saska's Steak & Seafood in Mission Beach.

Led by executive chef Antonio Friscia, Legal Restaurants is currently building out Harvest by The Patio in the East Village corner space that was vacated by Table No. 10 last summer. It will be transformed into a multi-purpose concept that will focus on a fast-casual, quick service during the day and feature heathy, creative food and cocktails in the evening. A new entryway on 10th Avenue will open up to a new main room that will feature a now-enclosed kitchen, a grab-and-go area, coffee bar and a menu of good-for-you food ordered counter service-style.

Chef Amiko Gubbins, an experienced local chef who joined the Legal Restaurants' team back in March, will cook up a lifestyle-concious, GMO-free menu that ranges from breakfast acai bowls to salads that can be topped with different proteins, poke bowls, sandwiches and roasted chickens.

Harvest by The Patio is hoping to be open by fall, in time for football season; the upstairs space will be set up to allow for more casual dining, with new TVs and a revamped bar area that will stay open late serving bar snacks and cocktails made with fresh juice and kombucha.
