LITTLE ITALY— The Kettner Exchange team, which is opening Good Time Poke and the tiki-inspired speakeasy The Grass Skirt in Pacific Beach, will be transforming adjacent doughnut store Devil's Dozen into pop-up shop 'Bao St. Buns' for one night only. From 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, chef Brian Redzikowski will be serving up a variety of steamed buns, ranging from $4 to $5 each, filled with everything from soft shell crab with cabbage and Vietnamese herbs to fried chicken with blue cheese and house chili sauce.
