The San Diego Night Market, Kearny Mesa's Asian-inspired open-air street food and entertainment event, is back for a two night stint this Saturday, June 25 from 4 p.m. to midnight and Sunday, June 26 from 3 to 9 p.m. Held at the Kearny Office Park (8304 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard) and hosted by the Convoy District Partnership, the night market will including over 20 food stalls, including SR Thai Potato Swirls, The Fry King, Banh Bao Shop, Seoul Street, Waffleland, Beignet Belly, who will be cooking Chinese buns, Korean tacos, Vietnamese banh mi, Japanese yakitori and more. Neighboring eateries, including Common Theory, O'Brien's Pub and Nolbu SD will be offering special after-party bites.
New this year are daily dance competitions and carnival games in addition to the regular entertainment options that range from cultural dance performances to live bands and DJs. General admission is $2 but buying a $2 Fast-Pass ticket online for either day will enable you to skip the surely-long line waiting to purchase day-of tickets. Free parking and shuttles will be available at the Spectrum Center parking structure at 8622-8684 Spectrum Center Boulevard.
