Carruth Cellars Relaunches Solana Beach Wine Tasting Room

The urban winery is also headed to Carlsbad

Eater readers who enjoy a bit of vino should check out Carruth Cellars' new tasting room in Solana Beach; after six years in its original location at 320 S Cedros Avenue, the local winery has migrated just a few steps north to open a new 5,000-square-foot tasting room at 118 S Cedros across from Culture Brewing. Its former 1,500-square-foot site will be kept and used as a private event space.

Open seven days a week, the tasting room serves cheese boards and wine-friendly snacks and plans on also hosting the occasional local food vendor; its live music programming will continue, including regular jazz nights and yoga and wine Sundays.

And owner and winemaker Adam Carruth, who sources grapes from Northern and Central California for his urban winery, is set to grow Carruth Cellars' North County presence. Scheduled to soft open in early July is another tasting room in downtown Carlsbad next to the upcoming Campfire restaurant.
