POWAY— Green Flash is pulling out all the stops for the first anniversary of Cellar 3. From noon to 9 p.m. on May 21, the brewery will host a full day of specials and activities, including a lineup of rare sours and barrel-aged beers, live interactive art and music and complimentary bites from Venissimo Cheese and Andrea's Truffles. The day will also feature the release of Cellar 3's first release from its limited-edition Barrelmaster’s Reserve series. Available on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a two-bottle limit, barrelmaster Pat Korn's Lustrous Frumento with Coffee is a 100% bourbon 30-month barrel-aged black ale with cold brew coffee from San Diego coffee roaster, Mostra. RANCHO BERNARDO— On Sunday, May 15 at Bernardo Winery, more than 25 member wineries of the San Diego County Vintners Association will be pouring at the organization's annual Wine & Food Festival and fundraiser. The outdoor event runs from 1 to 4 p.m., with $50 tickets that include unlimited wine tasting, gourmet food, winemaking education, food demos, a silent auction and live music. [EaterWire]
