Wine drinkers have been asking us for an update regarding Pali Wine Company, a Central Coast winery that will soon be putting down roots in San Diego. The acclaimed winery, whose flagship wine 2013 Riviera Pinot Noir recently received a 90 points from Wine Spectator, currently operates tasting rooms in Santa Barbara's 'Funk Zone' and Lompoc and is getting ready to launch a third satellite in Little Italy on India Street.
Based in Lompoc, Pali Wine Co. is known for its premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from California and Oregon and its newer label, Tower 15, which features Bordeaux and Rhone from the Paso Robles region.
Partner Stacey Rosser tells Eater that the Little Italy tasting room will features all of its bottled wine inventory and house an 8-keg wine on tap system for a refillable growler program. The modern space will hold a tasting bar, lounge and an open air second floor balcony with views east and west. Scheduled for a soft opening on Fourth of July weekend, Pali Wine Co. will also offer a small plates food menu to pair with its wines.
