More Poke On the Way For North Park & Kearny Mesa

Is 2016 the year of poke?

The fast-casual poke trend shows no signs of stopping in San Diego. On the heels of recent local openings, including Convoy's Pokirrito and San Diego Poke Co.'s first brick-and-mortar comes word via our tipline of two new poke-centric eateries on the horizon.

A new concept, named Poki One N Half, will open outposts in two local neighborhoods. The company has posted signs on storefronts at 3030 University Avenue in North Park and at 8055 Armour Street in Kearny Mesa.

According to the company website, Poki One N Half will offer customizable poke bowls, offered with a choice of four bases, seven seafood options and ten toppings and sauces.
