New Happy Hour at THE LOT; Blush's Daily Specials Menu

Plus, new food & drink at Vinavanti Urban Winery

LA JOLLA— Luxury cinema THE LOT just launched a new happy hour menu that feature special prices on drinks and shared plates from chef Matt Sramek, ranging from $5 to $8, that include charred shishito peppers, Scottish salmon carpaccio and Spanish chorizo flatbread with Manchego cheese, roasted peppers and wild arugula. The theater also just debuted Two-For-One Tuesday, when movie tickets will be sold at half-price. [EaterWire]

GASLAMP— Lots of fresh changes can be found at Blush Ice Bar | East West Kitchen, when every day of the week now brings a different food and drink deal. The new 7 Days Blushing daily specials menu ranges from half-off sushi rolls and sake on Monday and Tuesday, $1 potstickers on Wednesday, $12 margarita flights on Thursday, a free glass of wine with the purchase of an entree on Friday and $5 Bloody Marys and $1 oysters all day on Saturday and Sunday. On Padres game days, every order of a Padres burger (grass fed beef patty topped with avocado, jalapeno, arugula, spicy aioli, bacon and over-easy egg) comes with a free beer. [EaterWire]

HILLCREST— Vinavanti Urban Winery is offering an expanded menu, which now includes salads that can be topped with sous vide pork tenderloin or tuna conserva and flatbreads topped with beech mushrooms and ricotta or salami and green olives.
