POINT LOMA— New tacos are on tap at EAT at The Pearl, for $3.50 each or two for $5 now during its weekday happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. and all night on Tuesdays in the bar and lounge. There's a house carnitas taco, topped with pickled red onions, cilantro and salsa verde, and a mahi mahi taco from sister eatery Tacos Perla, which fries the fish in a curry beer batter and garnishes it with mango salsa, chipotle mayo and ginger ketchup; both tacos are served on hand-pressed tortillas.
