Pop-Up at Encinitas' Solace; Waterfront Brew & Food Fest

ENCINITAS— Solace and the Moonlight Lounge continues its shop and eat pop-up series with an event on Wednesday, April 27 that will focus on mens brands, including RoarkMr. B’s NecessitiesAloha SundayRicher Poorer, Inc., and Vnda. From 5 to 7 p.m., each vendor will run a mini-shop in the restaurant and chef/owner Matt Gordon will provide complimentary bites, and there will be specialty cocktails and tastings available from Snow Leopard Vodka and Fortaleza Tequila. A portion of the evening's sales will go to benefit local water charity H2O Trash Patrol. [EaterWire]

LITTLE ITALY— Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 4 and the return of the Brew & Food Festival. Held at the Waterfront Park from 3 to 6:30 p.m., the fest will feature two live music stages plus 70 breweries and more than 200 beers; local breweries confirmed to attend include Fall Brewing Company, Pure Project, Alpine Beer Company and Pizza Port. 20 eateries are scheduled to share dishes, including Javier Plascencia's Bracero, Salt & Cleaver, The Regal Seagull and more. LA JOLLA— For this month's edition of its Ales & Acoustics seriesHerringbone is partnering with Green Flash Brewing Co. and putting four new beers on tap — Passion Fruit Kicker, Cosmic Ristretto, Sea to Sea Lager, and Tangerine Soul Style IPA — on Saturday, April 30. The restaurant will offer a special menu from 2 to 6 p.m, with live music from Ryan Hiller and Justin Froese scheduled for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. [EaterWire]
