Buona Forchetta Heading to North County For Third Location

South Park's uber-popular Buona Forchetta, which is prepping to open its second location in Liberty Station later this month, is next expanding into North County. The gracious Italian eatery, which specializes in wood fired pizza and housemade pasta, will land a third location in Encinitas.

Multiple Eater readers spotted a sign posted up at the site of the former Bird House Grill, a Turkish restaurant which closed at the end of last year, which indicates that Buona Forchetta is taking over the space on North Coast Highway 101 in Leucadia. A rep for restaurant says that it may open there by June 2016.
