Solace Eat & Shop Pop-Up; Free Cheese Tour Stops in San Diego

ENCINITAS— Chef/owner Matt Gordon is hosting an eat and shop event at hiSolace and the Moonlight Lounge on Wednesday, February 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Complimentary bites will be served and there will be two specialty cocktails for sale, along with kids-themed goods from North County-based brands including Bink & Boo, Bowie James, Bliss & Baker, Plum and Sparrow and Narrow Gauge Designs. FASHION VALLEY— The Cheeses of Europe, which has been touring the U.S. offering pop-up educational cheese tastings, is stopping in San Diego and will be parked in front of Macy's at Westfield Fashion Valley from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, February 19 and Saturday, February 20 with free samples of over 30 types of French cheeses along with tastes of locally-brewed craft beer.
