Local lifestyle company Everyday California, which retails California-made apparel and accessories and also runs a popular outdoor adventure tours out of its storefront in La Jolla Shores, is getting into the juice bar business.
Opening across the street from its current shop is Woholle Juice Box, that will share a 2,400-square-foot space next to Galaxy Taco in the former La Jolla Shores Market site with a second location of Everyday California, which also rents kayaks, surfboards and paddleboards to area beachgoers.
Planning to launch in April, the 900-square-foot juice bar is being designed by local design firm Tecture, who recently modernized the bar at George's at The Cove. Woholle's founders are working with a local nutritionist on its menu, which will feature fresh cold pressed juice, from a green blend to watermelon-chia, plus smoothies and concentrated juice "elixirs". Later on, the juice bar intends to offer some healthy food items, including salads and wraps.
