The Embarcadero Welcomes Burgers, Bait & Beer; Wine Dinner at Madison on Park

Plus, a Relais & Châteaux Chef Collaboration at Rancho Valencia.

MARINA PARK SOUTH Burgers, Bait & Beer' officially opened today with food samples and other festivities on the restaurant's new outdoor patio. Stop by for tastings from the new menu, which features "Monster Dogs" (pork sausage, all-beef sausage), plus burgers, salads and stews. Local craft beer from Ballast Point, Coronado Brewing Company and Saint Archer will be available on tap, as well as a selection of bottled beers, sodas and water. Located directly behind the San Diego Convention Center, Burgers, Bait & Beer will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. closing at 8 p.m during the summer months (May through September). [EaterWire]

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS Madison on Park will host its first wine dinner featuring Dragonette Cellars on Tuesday, March 1st at 6 p.m. Founded by brothers John and Steve Dragonette, wines will be selected and poured by John Dragonette himself and paired with four-courses prepared by chef Mario Cassineri. There will be surprises too, including the first-ever pouring of one new Dragonette vintage, plus special wine pricing available on the night. RANCHO SANTA FE Chef Nathan Rich of Twin Farms and Chef Jarrod Moiles of Rancho Valencia will create a collaborative five course dinner showcasing both Southern California and New England favorites at Rancho Valencia on Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m. The intimate chef collaboration will highlight the best of the season between these two storied Relais & Châteaux properties. To attend solely the dinner, it is $185 per person, tax and gratuity not included.
