RANCHO SANTA FE— Next up in Chino Farms' Good Earth / Great Chefs series is a book-signing with writer Susan Herrman Loomis in celebration of her newest book, 'In a French Kitchen' scheduled for this Sunday, February 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.Loomis is a trained chef who has authored a dozen books and runs a cooking school called On Rue Tatin near Paris, and the event will features complimentary bites inspired by the book. AROUND TOWN— Raise a glass for National Margarita Day on Monday, February 22 — Galaxy Taco in La Jolla Shores will be offering their classic margarita for just $6 all day long, while Puesto is featuring its new farmers market-inspired Mercado Margarita, made with Casa Noble Crystal organic tequila, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, and a mix of of Point Loma Farms organic lime juice, grapefruit juice and clementine juice lightly sweetened with agave.
