Breakfast Republic Cooking Up Carmel Valley Location

More morning eats are coming

Breakfast Republic, which earlier this month just opened its morning-centric eatery in Encinitas, is experiencing a growth spurt. A fourth location has been previously announced for the East Village, where it will debut at the corner of G Street and 7th Avenue in early 2017, joining current outposts in North County, North Park and Liberty Station.

Now, Rise and Shine Restaurant Group founder Johan Engman is sharing word about a fifth location for the concept, which was first launched just a year and a half ago. Engman will open a Breakfast Republic at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch, the Carmel Valley development that has seen an influx of eateries in the last few months, including CrudoWESTROOT tavern and the soon-to-open Wokou.

At 3,154-square-feet, plus a 700-square-foot patio, this will be the first Breakfast Republic built from scratch — its existing locations previously housed other restaurants. When it opens, likely in April 2017. it will also feature a new mezzanine level.
