Gilmore Girls-Themed Pop Up Hits San Diego This Wednesday

A little piece of Stars Hollow will land in the San Diego area on Wednesday, October 5 as coffee shops across the country participate in an event to promote the Netflix four-episode revival of the 'Gilmore Girls'. The pop-up is scheduled to coincide with the 16th anniversary of the series' original pilot airdate; the new Netflix episodes air on Friday, November 26.

From 7 a.m. to noon this Wednesday, Barrio Logan's Cafe Virtuoso will be transformed into a version of the Luke's Diner set from the poplar show. Baristas will be wearing branded aprons and Netflix will reportedly be picking up the tab for the first 250 cups of coffee served. Hillcrest's Industrial Grind Coffee is also listed on the promotional website, although the Park Boulevard coffee shop was unable to confirm its participation as of this writing.
