Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream Opens Pacific Beach Scoop Shop

After debuting in North Park in 2014, popular ice cream shop Hammond's Gourmet Ice Cream just soft opened its second store on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach. At the grand opening, scheduled for this Saturday, January 9, Hammond's will be giving away free scoops of ice cream starting at noon (limit one scoop per person).

Co-owner Trang Hammond tells Eater that the Pacific Beach shop is featuring new flavors of Tropical Dreams super premium ice cream and sorbet, including Vanilla Rose, Chocolate-Mint sorbet and Vietnamese Coffee, which are available as part of their now-signature mini ice cream cone flights. The new flavors will eventually make their way onto the menu in North Park.
