A Trailer Park-Inspired Bar is Opening in the Gaslamp

Eater readers have been asking us to check out Trailer Park After Dark, whose sign is posted at 835 5th Avenue. We can confirm your suspicions — headed to the below street level space under the shuttered George's on 5th is a trailer park-themed eatery and bar that should be open next month.

Setting the scene will be actual trailers that will serve as seating and private VIP rooms for the bar. There will be games, cocktails, and a menu of "bumped up trashy American fare". Trailer Park After Dark will feature entertainment on most nights, from music to karaoke.
