Tequila Dinner at Firehouse; Italian Film Fest Launch Party

MIRAMAR— Kicking off this year's San Diego Italian Film Festival, running October 13 to October 24 is a grand launch party, dubbed "All Roads Lead to Rome" scheduled from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 3 at DuChateau. Advance $30 tickets include food from Solare chef Accursio Lota, chef/owner Oz Blackaller of Cueva Bar and Local Habit's Nicholas Brune, plus beer from Ballast Point, cheese from Venissimo and live music. CORONADO— A tipster spotted a Juice Crafters under construction on Orange Avenue. This will reportedly be the island's first juice bar and Juice Crafters' fourth San Diego location, joining stores in Little Italy, La Jolla and Hillcrest. A rep says the Coronado shop should be open by the end of September. [EaterWire]
